I am Wanshika Dilshani, and my journey embodies a fervent commitment to the fields of science, engineering, and veterinary medicine. My academic journey commenced with a bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Peradeniya, followed by a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. I am currently pursuing a master’s in business administration.

I am the CEO of Synergy Bio Pvt Ltd, where we manufacture medical and laboratory equipment. Additionally, I am a co-founder of Synergy Health, another branch of our organization. Our endeavors encompass a diverse spectrum, including advanced molecular diagnostics and a collaborative research institute. My research pursuits predominantly revolve around cardiology, encompassing various aspects such as early disease diagnosis, strategies for disease prevention, drug design, and other groundbreaking scientific innovations.

Before assuming the role of CEO, I served as an assistant lecturer at the University of Peradeniya within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. I possess the skills to diagnose and treat diverse medical conditions in animals, with expertise in both soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. In my capacity as the CEO of Synergy Bio Pvt Ltd, strategic planning is integral to my responsibilities. My commitment to social justice and aiding vulnerable populations is evident through my involvement in healthcare innovation and collaborations.
