I am Wasantha Priyadarshini Gunaratne, who is the founder and CEO of Priyadi Nature Food Products (PVT) Ltd. After my professional education, I worked as a pharmacist’s assistant at Health Guard Company and left the job after marriage. Later, using my knowledge of medicines and diseases, I started a private business called “Priyadi Products” in 2014 that produces value added healthy food products using natural, traditional local ingredients as supplementary food for non-communicable diseases in society.

As a successful woman entrepreneur, in the face of the 2019 COVID pandemic and the financial crisis in Sri Lanka, I successfully brought forward the business, and in the year 2021, the business was incorporated under the name Priyadi Nature Food Products (Pvt) Ltd. By adding new innovative products to my product range day by day, I gained customer trust and faced the competition. My business is going to succeed by winning awards and achievements day by day, and it is also doing social service by providing job opportunities to the underprivileged women in society.
