Shalonee Gunness is a creative, marketing professional with 20 years’ experience in initiating and driving sales and marketing, brand-based as well as customer-focused strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.

She has led marketing, export and branding initiatives at both operational and corporate levels locally and in the Indian Ocean region as well as over the African continent namely the setting up of paint manufacturing company in Maputo, Mozambique. Her work experience spans from wholesale, retail, FMCG, financial services and entertainment business sectors working for the local conglomerate the Rogers Group, Barclays, Zee TV Africa, Ministry of Financial Services its promotional and training arms namely the Financial Services Promotion Agency and the Financial Services Training Institute.

She is a certified trainer in business and brand management, customer experience and communication skills and a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing- CIM (UK), enrolled on the world-wide mentoring program of the Institute. She is a fellow member of the Lions Clubs International an international service organisation with more than 1.4 million volunteers across over 220 countries serving the community. She is currently the founder & Director Shaco Consulting trading under the brand, EDMONDES.
