June Anthony-Reeves is an Indigenous Secwepemc. She is the CEO and Chief Herbalist of Up the Hill at Loakin Incorporated. The name Up the Hill at Loakin is to honour June’s ancestors who were raised in an area called “Loakin”.

June harvests wild traditional Indigenous plant materials in her own traditional unceded territory of Secwepemculecw, the same areas her mother and her great-grandmother harvested their herbal medicines.

June uses Indigenous cultural and western herbalist training to manufacture botanical personal care products infused with Western knowledge. Her botanical products are made with natural, clean and green ingredients. Up the Hill at Loakin Incorporated are sustainable in harvesting practices, ensuring to leave enough plant medicines for the next generations to come.  June’s knowledge of harvesting foods and herbal medicines has been passed down through the generations from her ancestors.
