Dalene is a recognised and highly skilled communicator with the experience to engage effectively at all levels and sectors. She is adaptable, flexible, resilient and dynamic with a strong drive to succeed.

She has lived, worked or studied overseas for half her working life. Dalene grew up in the outback Queensland town of Birdsville. She started her career as a radiographer in regional Australian hospitals and in hospitals in the United Kingdom before spending three seasons in Europe as a tour guide. She joined OBE Organic in 2003. Between 2009 and 2015 she gained invaluable international business experience whilst living in Beijing and then Hong Kong, driving business opportunities in Asia and the Middle East.

She has been a strong advocate of causes, such as mental health, indigenous reconciliation, diversity & inclusion. With grit and smarts and compassion, she has made a difference. She is a champion of both people and planet.
