Mary Barton is a geoscience consultant offering technical and advisory services to the mining industry, specializing in the search for and the equitable distribution of gains from mineral resources. Mary has more than 10 years’ experience in the industry, covering many stages of the mining cycle, from early-stage exploration through to development and production. With experience in a range of commodities including diamonds, gold and copper, Mary takes pride in delivering agile, time-tested methods coupled with new technologies to ensure the very best service for her clients. Her primary goal is to unlock the full potential of projects through comprehensive and client-tailored solutions. Mary’s services include exploration and early-stage project development; geological modelling; resource model reviews; mineral ore systems research; and mineral policy and revenue management. When she is not out finding another promising outcrop in the middle of nowhere, she can be found keeping fit or hiding behind a camera lens.

Mary holds a MSc in Mineral Resource Management from the University of Dundee and an MSc in Geology from Curtin University.
