Sharon Robbie a namesake of her Aunty Sharon, is a part owner and operator of Krubi Creative. Sharon is a direct descendant of the Bidgywan (water dragon) people, from Burra Burra and Burragorang clan groups, of Gundungurra Nation. Her family lineage also comes from Dunghutti nation – Kempsey and Kamilaroi nation – Narrabri.

Her parents loved taking their children out to bush and sharing the knowledge in nature and all of its beauty. Her father grew up with a major influence on bush living. He did a lot of hunting and gathering to help contribute to family meals, it was his way of life. He shared his stories with his children. She and her siblings grew up learning Aboriginal dance and always being allowed space to paint and do other creative works within their culture. She loves exploring bush foods and being shown wood carvings and possum skin clothing. Raised with strong cultural mentors with deep cultural knowledge and talents. Through our art and stories, Sharon hopes that you get to know them on a deeper level and appreciate their rich knowledge and beautiful souls as we do.
