Sebastián Oyarzo Hernández

Sebastián Oyarzo Hernández is Mapuche, Chilean. Sebastián has a Bachelor in Linguistics. He is a cultural manager, and kitchener that works to preserve the Mapuche Culture in an urban context by saving the heritage of this important Indigenous community in Chile. He was also in charge of an NGO that manages cultural initiatives about Mapuche culture in different regions from Chile and work with the local organizations and other government departments to provide and organize cultural activities for poverty-stricken communities. As an independent worker, he manages cultural activities at the “Cultural Center La Moneda” (located below the Governmental Palace) and at the National Corporation for Indigenous Development (CONADI). Nowadays, Willi kitral is a personal project that aims for the revitalization of the indigenous people in Chile with their agro-food product from raw material from peasant family farming to establish to the agricultural producer as an import member of the elaboration value chain. Willi Kitral is a Chilean company founded in 2019 in order to develop premium agro-food products based on the traditions of the country’s indigenous Mapuche Culture.  Since its inception, the company choose to work only with Peasant Family Farming Indigenous using a Fair Trade approach for their suppliers. Their product comes from the rain forest of the south Chile, from Wallmapu territory as its ancestors called. Well, products are selling in different regions in the best gourmet shops that offer spicy and seasonings products.

Willi Kitral is a Chilean company founded in 2019 in order to develop premium agro-food products based on the traditions of the country’s indigenous Mapuche Culture.  Since its inception, the company choose to work only with Indigenous farmers using a fair-trade approach for their suppliers.
