I am Saray Pérez Rojas, founder of Arte Lanas Imperial, where I merge my passion for textile art with the Mapuche cultural heritage. From a young age, I was drawn to the artisan traditions of my community and decided to deepen my passion for the Mapuche loom, learning from the family who taught me the techniques and meaning behind each design. I have worked on various initiatives that promote the use of local materials and responsible practices. This approach led me to found Arte Lanas Imperial, with the mission of creating exclusive pieces that communicate the history of the Mapuche culture, using 100% sheep’s wool and natural dyes. My experience in the sector has allowed me to build a committed team, and together we have achieved that our creations are of very good quality. Through Arte Lanas Imperial, I seek to inspire others to value artisanal creations and encourage a more conscious consumption of the elaboration of a textile piece.
