Karen Antinopai, a member of the Mapuche Williche people of Chile, develops as a global indigenous entrepreneur, who seeks to learn, connect and contribute to the development of native peoples through the enhancement of their ancestral knowledge through the use of information technologies and digital commerce. As a mentor, rapporteur and digital entrepreneur, she participates in supporting entrepreneurs from indigenous peoples through public and private partnerships, participating as a panelist in various national and international events related to indigenous entrepreneurship and development issues. As creator of the digital community “Mercado Ancestral.com” where creators and entrepreneurs of native peoples participate, who disseminate and market their products and services with cultural relevance, she seeks to strengthen intercultural dialogue with the non-indigenous world, where ancestral knowledge is a universal cultural legacy that constitutes an important resource for all humanity and way of life.
