Jeraldine Gregorio Landoni is the visionary founder of JERAH Food Products Trading, a community-rooted enterprise born from resilience and purpose. The name JERAH, meaning “harvest,” reflects its mission to support local farmers in Mindoro, where banana cultivation is a vital livelihood.

When the pandemic disrupted the banana trade, Jeraldine, alongside her mother Mercy Machete, transformed adversity into opportunity. With minimal capital but unwavering determination, they began crafting banana chips using the native Saba variety harvested by Tadyawan farmers in Macangas, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.

Their product, a beloved Filipino snack known as pasalubong, blends tradition and simplicity: banana, coconut oil, sugar, and salt. Through the support of the City Trade and Industry Department, Jeraldine elevated JERAH’s reach and quality, turning a humble snack into a symbol of community empowerment and sustainable enterprise.

Looking ahead, JERAH aims to expand its product line with more locally sourced ingredients, enter regional and international markets, and establish a sustainable supply chain that uplifts Indigenous growers. Jeraldine envisions JERAH as a platform for cultural pride, economic inclusion, and global recognition of Mindoro’s rich agricultural heritage.
