Bashet Ampuan is a dynamic public servant and advocate for inclusive economic growth, currently serving as an Executive Assistant at Arkat Lawanen Inc. and formerly with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) under DBP Service Corporation. With a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science major in Local Government Administration from the University of Makati, Bashet has built a solid foundation in governance and community engagement.

Bashet played a key role in representing the Philippines at the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS), reflecting his commitment to positioning the country in the global halal market. His involvement in the 7th Philippine National Halal Conference and contributions to initiatives featured in Bandera highlight his dedication to promoting Halal tourism, food, and enterprise development as a pathway for inclusive growth, especially for Muslim Filipinos.

With a background that spans both government and private sectors, including administrative, executive, and community roles, Bashet is known for his dependable leadership, cross-cultural communication, and deep involvement in socio-economic development. His active participation in national expos and forums further showcases his advocacy for a Halal-certified Philippines—bridging local aspirations with international opportunities.
