APEC: Growing Indigenous Businesses Through Trade (GRIT) – Philippines
In partnership with the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and funded by the Australian Government, this project APEC: Growing Indigenous Businesses Through Trade is delivered by the Export Council of Australia.
This program assists participants to:
- Build knowledge of international trade;
- Expand their network, including with other Indigenous entrepreneurs within APEC; and
- Increase their profile (including on the Export Council of Australia’s website).
Topics include market opportunity analysis, Intellectual Property protection, international marketing, innovative business models, pricing, financing, e-commerce, business pitching, support for Indigenous businesses, leadership, and women’s economic empowerment.
Training sessions were held online and in person in Manila from 16 to 17 June 2025.
