In 2000 we received training on ecotourism companies in the Tehuacan Cuicatlán Biosphere Reserve and we leaned towards the area of rescuing ancestral knowledge. In 2005 we took diplomas on massages, 2009 we took diplomas on medicinal plants and production of ointments, tinctures, therapeutic soaps and shampoo of medicinal plants, in 2008 to 2011 I was the first woman representative of indigenous peoples’ organizations, in the advisory council for the care of the environment of the Ministry of the Environment, where we had the opportunity to train ourselves in various topics regarding indigenous peoples. In 20167 we had the opportunity to work in a holistic center. Reinforcing and learning about more therapies and ancestral knowledge. In 2021, as a result of the covid pandemic, we decided to form a group of 5 members and work in our community with the temazcalli to help people who were left with sequelae, using the knowledge of the properties of salt in our community and the knowledge of the medicinal plants of our region, we have worked on therapies, thus supporting people who seek natural medicine and us creating our source of income on the rescue of the knowledge of ancient Mexico, reaching several salt products and their different presentations and uses.
